-
- I have a small problem with the lights in Imagine. I've rendered a small
- animation (almost 7 sec) with some white roof lights, some blue dimmed
- lights and some blue flashing lights. The problem is when the flashing
- lights flash the render ends up as our cheap VHS-camera, all other
- lights get less intense and when the flash goes away they get back to
- their ordinary brightness. I wonder if there is any way to get by this
- "effect" in imagine without making the other lights more intense when
- the flash goes off. The flash isn't as intense as a camera flash, more
- like if you turn on a 60W lamp among some already lit 15W lamps. It's a
- bit hard to explain, I don't like how it looks at all, please tell me
- what you thinks and what I can do about it, if I can do anything about.

- The first thing that comes to mind is the Gamma and Clipping settings. You
- didn't mention what version of Imagine you are using. But I'm guessing it's
- a version IFW. If so, take a look at the menu command Editor|Preferences
- and try shutting off the Gamma and Clipping correction and re-render.
